I assume the company doesn’t have a legal entity in Malaysia, will the employment and payroll be handled through an EOR/payroll agent? And would the local agent handle things like tax deductions, EPF, and salary payments? And how about the benefits, such as the 13th-month salary, bonuses, and other allowances?
Yes to your first two questions. In addition to the standard 12-month fixed salary, there are two performance bonuses totaling around 2 months of salary in aggregate. The exact terms can be further discussed during the interview.
