Pocket FM is a pioneering online audio entertainment platform, founded in 2018 by Rohan Nayak, Nishanth KS, and Prateek Dixit. The platform offers a wide variety of audio series across genres such as romance, horror, fantasy, science fiction, and mythology, serving over 130 million listeners worldwide. 

Pocket FM operates on a freemium model, allowing users to listen to the first few episodes of a series for free each day. After that, they can opt for microtransactions to unlock individual episodes or purchase the entire series. 

In 2023, the Pocket FM app surpassed 100 million downloads on Google Play, demonstrating its widespread popularity.

To assist writers in quickly converting text content into audio, Pocket FM partnered with ElevenLabs, providing around 50 voice options for this process.
