Full Stack Development Engineering Management
As our Lead Full-Stack Engineer in Ho Chi Minh City, you will be one of the most critical technical hires at Rembrandt. You will: - Act as the technical leader for our Ho Chi Minh City–based engineering team - Work directly with the CTO and founders in Amsterdam on architecture, product direction, and technical strategy - Be responsible for building, mentoring, and scaling a high-performing local engineering team - Own major parts of the platform end-to-end, from AI agent logic to infrastructure and customer-facing dashboards What You’ll Do 1. Lead & Build the Engineering Team - Hire, onboard, and mentor engineers in Ho Chi Minh City - Set engineering standards for code quality, architecture, testing, and delivery - Establish clear processes for execution, ownership, and collaboration with the Amsterdam-based core team - Act as the primary technical point of contact between Vietnam and the Amsterdam based engineering team 2. Own Core Product Development - Improve and extend our AI agents: • Upgrade detection logic and reasoning capabilities • Continuously connect new public data sources • Design agent flows that customers can configure, tune, and improve through feedback - Build deep integrations: • Connect agents to customer workflows (CRM systems, internal tools) • Integrate with AI models (LLMs) and external APIs 3. Build Customer-Facing Intelligence Products - Develop dashboards that aggregate agent outputs into clear, actionable insights for leadership teams - Design account-level analysis pages that explain why an account is relevant and what changed 4. Architect for Scale - Design and maintain scalable, production-grade systems - Own and evolve our AWS-based infrastructure (EKS, Lambda, SQS) - Ensure robustness, observability, and performance as data volume and customer usage grow
A Top-Tier Engineer - 7+ years of professional experience as a Full-Stack or Backend-heavy engineer - Strong hands-on experience with: • TypeScript, Node.js • React / Next.js • PostgreSQL (and ORMs like Prisma) • GraphQL (Apollo or similar) A Technical Leader - Proven experience leading engineers or small teams - Comfortable making architectural decisions and setting long-term technical direction - Able to raise the bar for engineering quality and culture A Systems Thinker - Deep understanding of scalable, maintainable, production-ready systems - Ability to reason in trade-offs, not just implementations Ownership Mindset - Strong sense of responsibility from idea to production impact - Thrives in fast-moving startup environments with ambiguity and high expectations AI-Curious (or AI-Experienced) - Strong interest in AI systems, LLMs, and intelligent agents
