We are passionate about making chips that bring value to people’s lives. We manufacture semiconductor devices that help to save lives, connect people and drive cleaner transportation. At X-FAB, it is all about those round and shiny things, the wafers we manufacture in cleanrooms at our six productions sites, so-called fabs, around the globe.  The variety of tasks and jobs at X-FAB is huge, spanning from developing novel process technologies, the installation of new equipment, manufacturing the wafers in the cleanroom, performing test & measurement tasks to administrative payroll processing or cost and material planning. We have grouped these different jobs into four roles which are described below. In the following pages you will find examples of real people working in real jobs for each of these roles.
