NextLayer Technologies seeks a forward-thinking Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead its next wave of innovation in AI, decentralized platforms, blockchain solutions, and digital infrastructure. You will spearhead all technology initiatives, build scalable systems, and lead a talented engineering team that’s driving disruptive change in fintech, e-commerce, and AI applications. Your responsibilities will include: + Driving the company’s technical vision, architecture, and infrastructure roadmap + Evaluating and adopting emerging technologies that deliver business advantage + Overseeing platform scalability, cloud architecture, and system security + Guiding cross-functional teams in high-performance development practices + Leading R&D efforts across AI, blockchain, and decentralized systems + Ensuring continuous technical innovation that aligns with company growth + Building and maintaining strong relationships with external vendors and partners.
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Minimum 10 years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years in leadership Proficiency in Java, Node.js, JavaScript, HTML5, AngularJS or Ember.js Solid experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud environments Strong background in microservices architecture, Docker, API design (REST, WebSocket) Database experience with MySQL, MongoDB, Redis Proven ability to scale engineering teams and mentor technical talent Fluent English communication skills.
