We’re looking for a Senior Engineer / Architect to harness some of the world’s most valuable, fascinating, and untapped data — global trade flows that shape markets and policies in real time. From Russian sanctions and AI microchips to fentanyl precursors and the ongoing tumult of tariffs and trade wars, our datasets capture the pulse of worldwide commerce and geopolitics. Never has this information been more relevant, and we need a visionary technical leader to help us put it to use — at scale, and with speed. In this role, you’ll be the key architect for our ASEAN development. You’ll guide our international teams to help us cultivate an engineering culture that delivers on big ideas, enabling faster, smarter insights into the global supply chain and beyond. Responsibility and Accountability - Envision, communicate, and evolve our software architecture. - Collaboration with team members to determine functional and non-functional requirements for software and applications. - Influence all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards. - Effectively communicate all concepts and guidelines to the development team. - Oversee the progress of projects to ensure consistency with the initial design. - Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers. - Make sure that projects meet quality requirements, security, modifiability, extensibility etc. - Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues. - Improve the company’s code quality, automation. - Travel to Manila to work in-person with our core technology teams during our semi-monthly face-to-face days.
