The Head of EPC will be responsible for overall leadership and management of EPC projects, ensuring successful project planning, execution, cost control, quality, safety and timely delivery of large-scale civil infrastructure projects in alignment with contractual and organizational objectives. Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage end-to-end EPC projects from project initiation to final handover. • Oversee engineering design coordination, procurement planning, construction execution, and commissioning activities. • Develop and approve project execution plans, work schedules, methodologies, and resource allocation. • Prepare, review, and approve project cost estimates, budgets, BOQs, and financial forecasts. • Ensure effective cost control, cash flow management, variation handling, claims management, and final account settlement. • Monitor project progress against schedule and budget, and implement corrective actions when required. • Ensure compliance with contract terms, technical specifications, drawings, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. • Lead and mentor project managers, engineers, planning, costing, and site execution teams. • Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and government authorities. • Conduct project review meetings and prepare regular progress, risk, and performance reports for management. • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize technical, financial, and operational exposure. • Support tendering and pre-contract activities including technical evaluation, costing, and bid strategy. • Drive continuous improvement in project execution processes, quality, and productivity. • Ensure adherence to HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards across all project sites.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s degree preferred) preferably from BUET/KUET/RUET/CUET or any reputed educational institute. • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in EPC / large-scale civil construction projects. • Proven experience in project execution, costing, estimation, contract administration, and claims management. • Experience in infrastructure, industrial, commercial, or large building projects will be an advantage. • Strong exposure to client-facing roles and senior stakeholder management. Key Skills & Competencies • Strong leadership and team management capabilities. • Excellent planning, execution, and problem-solving skills. • High level of commercial, contractual, and financial acumen. • Sound knowledge of EPC contracts, FIDIC conditions, and construction methodologies. • Proficiency in MS Excel, project planning/scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project), and construction management systems. • Strong communication, negotiation, and reporting skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight timelines and pressure.
