I have been an advisor and consultant to a number of public and private organisations. I was managing head of Ernst and Young Law Vietnam LLC. I was Regional Director for UTS Insearch, an affiliate of the University of Technology Sydney. Covering Vietnam, Myanmar and Cambodia, I identified and managed strategic partnerships including participating in the management boards of two joint ventures. I have worked with a multi-billion dollar Singapore based investment fund and was Chief Strategy Officer for Vietnam and Cambodia. Concurrently I was CEO of an affiliate company. As a commercial/corporate lawyer I have worked at international law firms advising a variety of multi-national companies across industry sectors in corporate structuring, acquisitions, intellectual property, competition law and general compliance. I have been a member of the Australian National Community Advisory Committee to the Special Broadcasting Service (SBS), member of the Australian national NGO delegation to the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child in Geneva and Board Member, Management Board Member of the New South Wales Ethnic Communities Council, Board member of the Australian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam and Advisory Board Chair of Loreto Vietnam, an Australian charity. I am co-founder and founding Board Chair of the Australia Vietnam Leadership Dialogue (AVLD). I am now Special Advisor to AVLD. I am a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. In 2015, my memoir, We Are Here, published by Allen & Unwin, was shortlisted for the NSW Premier’s Literary Awards.
