SENLA (www.shipsenla.com) is a logistics technology startup tackling one of Vietnam’s biggest trucking inefficiencies: 60–70 percent of trucks return empty. We are building a freight-matching platform that reduces empty returns, improves truck utilization, and helps SMB carriers grow profitably. We are early, moving fast, and assembling a team to solve a large, operationally complex problem in Southeast Asia. SENLA is backed by Antler, the world’s largest technology company builder and a global early-stage VC firm. About the Position As Head of Sales, you will own the commercial engine from day one. This is an early-stage, hands-on role - you’ll personally build the first pipeline, close the first deals, and translate learnings into a repeatable sales process. Over time, you’ll build and lead a small, high-output team to scale SENLA’s footprint with carriers and shippers across Vietnam. Strategy and operations - Drive the full sales cycle: lead generation, outreach, pitching, closing, and account management. - Build and maintain strong relationships with trucking carriers, brokers, and shippers. - Develop and refine sales playbooks, pricing models, and value propositions based on market feedback. - Collaborate with the CEO and CTO to align product development with commercial needs. - Recruit, train, and lead a small sales and operations team as traction grows. - Represent SENLA at logistics associations, events, and industry partnerships.
- Vietnamese national, fluent in Vietnamese and English. - >5 years of experience in logistics, trucking, or supply chain - ideally as a broker or business development lead. - Proven ability to sell directly to carriers (trucking companies) and shippers and build trusted commercial relationships. - Strong ownership mindset; comfortable working with limited structure in a fast-moving startup. - Track record of execution in early-stage or high-growth environments. - Capable of designing, managing, and scaling a small but high-performing team.
