Team Leader Social Media Marketing Strategic Planning
Job Summary As a Social Media Manager, you will lead the planning and execution of multi-platform social media campaigns, transforming strategy into content calendars, outreach tactics, and performance insights. You will be responsible for managing a team, maintaining content quality, and driving consistent engagement across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and more. This role requires a deep understanding of digital culture, platform behavior, and content best practices - along with leadership skills, cross-functional collaboration, and a sharp performance mindset. Experience with social commerce is a strong advantage, as we continue evolving toward content-driven conversion. Supervisory Responsibility - Lead and manage a team of 10 members, providing direction and support to ensure high performance and strategic alignment. - Foster a collaborative environment between the social media team and other departments, especially Client Service and Strategic Planning teams. Job Responsibility 1. Social Media Planning - Develop platform-specific strategies based on audience behavior, platform trends, and campaign objectives. - Collaborate with Planning and Creative teams to build social content plans and outreach strategies that align with integrated campaigns. - Translate strategy into actionable content calendars with strong creative direction and performance logic. 2. Social Media Performance - Work closely with Client Service and Planning teams to define the needs, methodology, and Work with internal teams and external partners (media, KOLs, social listening, etc.) to execute social campaigns across Paid - Owned - Earned channels. - Define performance tracking methodology and reporting cadence in collaboration with Strategic Planning and Client Service. - Consolidate data, analyze results, and deliver reports with actionable insights on a campaign, weekly, and monthly basis. - Provide strategic recommendations to optimize future executions. 3. Community & Advocacy Management - Oversee community engagement and ensure brand voice consistency across platforms. - Support the development of advocacy strategies involving KOLs, KOCs, and online communities. - Monitor conversations and social trends to identify real-time engagement opportunities and potential risks. 4. Team Development - Train/ Coach Social team members based on their specific needs. - Well-supervise and keep close communication with all team members through on-daily jobs. - Foster a culture of continuous learning by sharing trends, platform changes, and campaign benchmarks.
- Strong project management skills to ensure existing projects run smoothly and new opportunities are scoped and executed efficiently. - Excellent presentation skills and experience sharing new ideas with clients. English efficiency is a must. - Social platform expertise is needed: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and more. - Attention to detail and organizational excellence, especially under tight timelines. - Strategic and creative mindset - able to connect business needs to content direction. - Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and other core marketing tools. - Highly responsible, self-driven, and collaborative in cross-team environments. - At least 7 years of working experience in an Advertising agency. - Deep knowledge of social planning, implementation, and market trends. - Bachelor’s degree in marketing/ digital marketing/ communications or related fields.
