Our platform has 50+ million users across 190+ countries, and we have received investment from Gradient Ventures – Google’s AI fund. Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for Business Development – Taiwan & Hongkong. The role will involve promoting and selling ELSA’s B2B offering and services in Taiwan & Hongkong. The Business Development will work closely with the sales team and be responsible for conducting market research, identifying, and generating new business leads, negotiating and closing deals, and meeting sales targets. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development to spearhead our expansion into the Taiwan market for our cutting-edge EdTech products. As a Business Development member in our team you’ll have the opportunity to foster your career path with the growth of a startup from Silicon Valley. What you’ll be doing Conduct thorough market research to identify key trends, competitor landscape, and potential opportunities in the education technology sector in TW & HK. Formulate short-term and long-term goals, outlining specific milestones and success metrics. Identify and establish strategic partnerships with local educational institutions, government bodies, and key stakeholders to enhance market penetration. Develop a robust pipeline of opportunities with potential B2B clients (companies, schools, english center) in TW & HK, through traditional approaches (such as cold/warm calls and emails, networking) and creative marketing campaigns (in collaboration with marketing team) to drive revenue growth. Collaborate with product team and customer support team to deliver customized product solutions and satisfactory services. Regularly track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business development and market expansion.

必要なスキルと経験

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or a related field. MBA is a plus. At least 4 years of experience in sales, account management or business development, preferably in a similar industry Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing, with a focus on the EdTech sector. Able to develop and execute sales strategies with a strong customer focus Demonstrated ability to identify and generate new business leads, negotiate deals and close sales Experience in developing and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers Strong understanding of the Taiwan & Hongkong education landscape. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Fluency in Mandarin and proficiency in English (Vietnamese is a plus)
