Engineering Maintenance
- Communicate effectively with Engineering Services team in Singapore to obtain details of structural defect or damage information encountered on the aircraft - Attend to assigned Engineering Assistance Request Notes (EARNs). Clarify issues with Lead or with Engineering Services team in Singapore as needed - Interpret Aircraft Technical Publications such as Structural Repair Manual (SRM), aircraft drawings, Service Bulletin (SB), Wiring Diagram Manual (WDM), Component Maintenance Manual (CMM), Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM) etc. - Draft and review technical messages to OEMs / Customers - containing damage/defect description (part numbers, location, size, type etc), illustrations, inspection results, and proposed repair instructions (if any) etc, in accordance with standard procedures/OEM requirements - Draft and review repair instructions, in form of Engineering Note or in Customers’ required templates, to be routed to Engineering Services team in Singapore for approval / release. - Be willing to be stationed in Airframe MRO facilities in Singapore for extended periods of 6 – 12 months for immersion and/or specialized training
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering or equivalent - 3-5 years of experience in Base Maintenance - Ability to communicate effectively in English, both read and write - Preferably trained in areas of aircraft structures, composites, or electrical wiring interconnection system - Willing to support beyond regular office hours as needed, especially in AOG cases
