Founded in 1998, CJ CGV is an entertainment platform operator under CJ Group. The name “CGV” stands for Cultural – Great – Vital. CJ CGV, which is the largest multiplex cinema system in Korea, currently has branches in many countries in the world as well.
CJ CGV is proud of to be the largest film distributor and cinema operator in Vietnam and be one of top 5 cinema chains in the world. We always keep spirit and follow our vision - “Evolving beyond movies, global No.1 cultureplex.” and mission - “To create a lasting and memorable experience as "The First, the Only and the Best place”.
Following our vision and mission, CJ CGV has created a unique concept of transforming former multiplexes into “Cultureplex”, where customers not only enjoy the movie itself, but also have access to diverse entertainment experiences provided with the latest technology including ScreenX, STARIUM, IMAX, 4DX, Dolby Atmos, as well as premium services such as L’AMOUR, Gold Class and completely new different F&B offerings, while enjoying the highest quality service provided by CGV Cinema’s staffs.
We always commit to social responsibilities and charity activities. You can find us through Smile Moon and Movies for everyone program. We also encourage young generation to develop Vietnam movies industry by organizing Toto’s filmmaking class, CGV Art House and sponsoring for Vietnam Film Festival and Hanoi International Film Festival.
