Ho Chi Minh City is the largest commercial city in Vietnam and home to Vietnam's largest commercial port. Having the longest history as a Japanese bank in Ho Chi Minh City, we are recognized as one of the top banking service providers in this region. Our first branch in Vietnam was established in the southern city of Saigon in 1920 as an office of predecessor company the Yokohama Specie Bank. In 1993 the Bank established a Representative Office in Ho Chi Minh City, which became a foreign bank branch in 1996. Currently, our Ho Chi Minh City Branch has more than 150 staff members.
