Description You will be part of the Data team in NTUC Income. In this role, you will partner the business stakeholders to spearhead the design, development and delivery of IT initiatives that digitally transform Income’s Data Team. You will implement and support technology that enables Income to become Data Driven Organization and engage our customers digitally. You are responsible to provide technology leadership and direction across the full lifecycle of data projects from planning through implementation. You will also be expected to stay in touch with latest technology trends, as well as having strong opinions about how data should be engineered. Primary Responsibilities - As a technology guru, provide hands-on technical leadership and guidance to the development teams under your charge to design and develop new software solutions - Provides strategic vision, architecture, and roadmap for Enterprise Data Warehouse platform aligned to business and technological requirements across all platform technologies. - Evaluate and implement new technologies that are capable to digitally transform Insurance Operations processes, including Data Lake/EDW/ODS, Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning. - Upholds Security and Compliance protocols for data exchange Collaborates with leaders to understand interoperability needs and delivers value-added solutions. - Responsible for timely delivery of Application Services specifically in the Financial Data Warehouse and reporting space - Accountable for meeting the Application Services Optimization targets agreed with the customer - Support with new Application Services proposals, drive pursuits and execution of contracts - Lead engagement planning and budgeting - Leads team change management that supports the overall business strategy Identifies and implements technical and procedural solutions aligned with operating objectives. - Lead the team in resolving technical debts and defects to ensure that the solution remains reliable and robust - Perform system analysis, design and code reviews to ensure solutions are maintainable, secure and release with good quality - Ensure application designs adhered to architectural roadmap, including implementation of DevSecOps, automated testing, Single Source truth, Data Marts and Data As Service in Income’s hybrid cloud environment - Mobilize and manage both BAU & enhancement team - Ensure that the service performance meets or exceeds established goals / SLAs - Manage customer expectations and escalations - Ensure ETL/ELT development adhered to Income’s software development life cycle process (Waterfall and Agile) and standards - Develop metrics to track development competencies by skills set and applications. Work with team to continuously make improvements and achieve higher competencies - Responsible for the Business Data Glossary, Dictionary, Classification and Lineage - Manage Data Quality rules, measures and identify gaps and implement a remediation plan - Govern Referential Data and mapping across systems, Data Lake and Multi Cloud/ Hybrid Cloud - Responsible for Data Extraction approval process and automating this securely with Data Governance Policies. - Responsible for maintaining Data Privacy, Protection and Security standards and controls - Regular Dashboard Reporting on Data Quality, Maturity and KPIs - Manage Data Board and present in leadership forums on data policy & standards
