I am a mature, polished, and passionate CELTA-trained ESL teacher with over 5 years of experience teaching English in Vietnam (online, in classrooms, and hybrid) to a wide range of English language learners, including children, teens, adults, college students, business people (corporate classes), and students preparing for the IELTS exam. I have taught at a large international university, a small college, a top-tier private language school, and in Vietnamese primary and secondary public schools. I have excellent skills in lesson planning, classroom management, and course development, with extensive experience developing materials, assessments, and activities for active learning and student-centered learning environments. My lessons aim to develop student abilities for real-world interaction, exploration, higher order thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration - in contexts that students find personally interesting, relevant, and engaging.
