- Authorize payment requests from all departments and provide guidelines to accountants. - Oversee the daily, weekly, and monthly tasks of accountants and cashiers. - Book invoices from vendors, terminals, ports, and suppliers. - Audit invoices and receipts in the accounting system. - Prepare and submit VAT Input/Output reports to the Tax Office. - Handle VAT Input/Output BMC reporting and withholding tax submissions. - Manage fixed assets and prepare depreciation and prepayment reports. - Review and report handling fees and freight taxes. - Reconcile and close financial reports in the accounting system. - Finalize accounting reports and send them to the head office.
Kỹ năng và kinh nghiệm tối thiểu
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a Chief Accountant or similar role. - Previous experience working in the shipping industry - Must hold a Chief Accountant Certificate issued in Vietnam. - Proficient in Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and tax regulations. - Strong knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems (experience with SAP or similar systems is a plus). - Excellent skills in Excel for financial modeling, prepayment, and depreciation reports. - Fluent in Vietnamese and English (written and spoken) for effective communication with local authorities and international teams.
