Job Overview And Responsibility

- Production Planning & Control: • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules for all processing stages (shelling, drying, peeling, grading, packing). • Monitor production targets and adjust resources to meet deadlines. • Optimize yield and reduce wastage through process improvements. - Quality & Food Safety Compliance: • Ensure kernels meet customer specifications and grading standards. • Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety standards (HACCP, ISO, BRC, FSSC 22000). • Prevent infestation and maintain hygiene across all areas. - Workforce Management: • Supervise and guide shift supervisors and production staff. • Provide on-the-job training and skill enhancement for workers. • Ensure discipline, safety, and motivation among team members. - Process Optimization: • Review and improve process flow to reduce cycle times. • Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in production. • Implement and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). - Inventory & Cost Control: • Coordinate with stores to ensure adequate raw material and packaging supplies. • Track production costs, control overheads, and improve cost efficiency. • Maintain ERP records for production and inventory accurately. - Reporting & Coordination: • Prepare and submit daily production reports and variance analyses. • Work closely with quality control, maintenance, and procurement teams. • Escalate operational issues to Factory Manager promptly.
