Accounting Finance Tax
- Daily Operations • Review and verify payment vouchers for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal policies. • Monitor contracts, manage supplier accounts payable, and track customer accounts receivable, ensuring timely collections. • Prepare and process payment transfer requests to suppliers and service providers. • Record all financial transactions accurately and promptly in accounting software (e.g., MISA, SAP, or equivalent). • Issue VAT invoices in strict accordance with Vietnamese tax regulations. - Monthly Responsibilities • Review payroll data for accuracy and process monthly salary payments. • Reconcile bank account transactions and investigate discrepancies. • Verify, classify, and archive incoming invoices per accounting standards. • Post expense allocations, prepaid expense amortization, and calculate asset depreciation. • Prepare monthly management reports and financial summaries. - Quarterly Responsibilities • Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns to the tax authority. • Compile and submit investment reports to the State Bank of Vietnam and the Department of Planning and Investment. • File corporate tax returns in compliance with regulatory deadlines. • Assist HR with quarterly Personal Income Tax (PIT) filings and reconciliation. - Annual Responsibilities • Finalize and submit corporate income tax (CIT) reports. • Compile and submit annual statistical reports as required by authorities. • Support HR in preparing annual personal income tax finalization for employees. • Coordinate with external auditors during annual audit engagements. - Ad-Hoc Responsibilities • Serve as the primary liaison with tax authorities for inquiries, audits, and explanations of financial matters. • Prepare and submit contractor tax declarations and monitor finalization processes. • Support the operations team with cost analysis and budget tracking as needed. • Collaborate with the legal team on tax-related and compliance matters. • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Board of Directors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in general accounting or a similar role. - Proficiency in accounting software (MISA, SAP, Fast Accounting, or equivalent). - Advanced skills in MS Excel and Google Sheets. - Strong understanding of Vietnamese tax regulations, VAT, CIT, PIT, and VAS (Vietnamese Accounting Standards). - Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. - Ability to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines. - Strong communication skills for liaising with internal teams and government authorities.
