Job Overview And Responsibility

The Opportunity We are looking for a Senior Customer Analytics Analyst who can help build out our customer insights team (based in Vietnam but focused on the US market) and use data effectively to understand who our best customers are, how we activate/engage/retain these customers, and how we build loyalty programs that drive upselling and retention. We have an incredible team of AI (LLM) and data engineering talent that are building data → insights → action loops. We want someone who can see the future in AI-powered customer intelligence and help us execute towards it. Our team includes people from Bain, AC Nielsen, Google, Tiki and Trusting Social,... What You'll Do - Analyze customer behavior: Dive deep into purchase patterns, retention curves, cohort performance, and customer journeys to understand what drives engagement and churn - Build reports and dashboards: Create the recurring analyses and dashboards that the business uses to track customer health, retention rates, LTV, and make decisions - Conduct deep-dive analyses: When we need to understand "why" something is happening, you dig into the data and come back with answers and recommendations - Support retention initiatives: Analyze campaign performance, A/B test results, and loyalty program effectiveness to optimize what's working - Understand the business: Learn how retail, ecommerce and delivery operations work, what metrics matter (LTV, churn, NRR, cohort retention), and how different customer segments behave - Create customer segmentation: Build and maintain customer segments based on behavior, value, RFM analysis, and lifecycle stage - Leverage AI tools: Use modern analytics and AI tools to work faster and uncover insights at scale - Communicate insights: Translate data into clear, actionable stories for product, marketing, and leadership teams

Required Skills and Experience

- Have 3-5+ years in analytics, customer insights, business intelligence, or consulting roles (market research, ecommerce analytics, customer analytics, or similar) - Have experience working with US or international companies and have strong English and data-focused communication skills - Know how to read business data and understand what's really happening beneath the surface - Are strong with SQL and comfortable pulling, cleaning, and analyzing data independently - Understand key customer analytics metrics: retention rates, cohort analysis, customer lifetime value (LTV), churn rate, funnel conversion, repeat purchase behavior, Net Revenue Retention (NRR) - Can translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations for non-technical stakeholders - Are detail-oriented and rigorous—you don't just find an answer, you make sure it's the right answer - Are curious and proactive: when something looks off, you dig deeper without being asked - Are excited about learning cutting-edge AI tools and how they can accelerate analytics work - Are comfortable in fast-paced, ambiguous environments where you need to figure things out
