The Sales Team Leader leads customer acquisition and account expansion within an assigned region or vertical, ensuring revenue and gross profit growth while maintaining strong customer relationships and competitive service offering Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy & Business Development • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue and GP targets. • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across ocean freight FCL / LCL and logistics services. • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive positioning. • Build a strong pipeline and maintain disciplined pipeline management. Customer Acquisition & Relationship Management • Build and maintain long term relationships with new and existing clients. • Conduct regular customer visits to understand requirements and present tailored freight solutions. • Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotations, and presentations. • Ensure high customer satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution. Product & Solution Selling • Promote the company’s full suite of freight forwarding services (ocean FCL/LCL, import/export, project cargo). • Develop compelling value propositions and negotiate win win solutions. • Collaborate with operations, pricing, and customer service teams to ensure accurate and competitive offers. Performance & Reporting • Achieve assigned sales targets, KPIs, and activity metrics. • Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular reporting on pipeline, wins/losses, and market feedback. • Track customer profitability and ensure deals meet margin expectations. Internal Collaboration • Work closely with operations to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery. • Coordinate with trade lane managers, procurement, and product teams to secure competitive rates and solutions. • Support cross functional initiatives to improve service quality and customer experience.
• 3-5+ years of sales experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain. • Strong understanding of ocean freight processes, pricing, and carrier relationships. • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new business. • Experience in Vietnam’s logistics market and familiarity with local regulatory environment. • Fluency in English
