About kobi lighting studio Kobi lighting studio, a French start-up founded at Saigon aims to design the light for Wellness (1) of workers-users, for its Efficiency (2) and to create the right Ambience and Feeling (3). Our Vision is to set up kobi lighting studio globally - as an innovative lighting consultant, designing sophisticated and sustainable environments and spaces, with the intention to better people’s lives and organization efficiency. Your Mission at kobi lighting studio Our lighting designer colleague will be involved in many projects with the Light Creative Director and the Lighting Design Manager. The challenges are - beyond creating and designing lighting solutions according to our values and our vision - to adapt to time, communication and a project organization constraint that are specific to South-East Asia. The mission will be consisting on leading simultaneously below assignements: - Analyze the project, its challenges and its actors - Participate in the lighting design phase - Check the technical feasibility of design ideas and their social and environmental impact - Perform numerical and photometric simulations for the selected options - Participate in the evaluation and pre-selection of lighting equipment - Carry out drawings and sketches of lighting plans and associated documents - Supervise and/or prepare technical and production plans - Actively coordinate with project stakeholders (investors, consultants, experts and contractors) to ensure progress in the design phases, in accordance with our commitments - Discuss and meet with the client to coordinate all schedule requirements - Report key information related to the design and the project to the Lighting Design Manager - Monitor and coordinate projects remotely and on-site.

Required Skills and Experience

- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in an independent lighting design agency; - Very good proficiency in English in a professional setting; - Educated and trained in lighting design, architecture, landscape, engineering, interior design; - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat; - Proficiency in InDesign, AutoCAD, Word, and Excel is required. - Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Revit, Ms. Project, 3DsMax, Dialux, Lumion 8, and sketching skills desired; - Independent, autonomous, rigorous and with a proactive attitude; - Strong motivation for personal development; - Strong problem-solving skills; - Able to travel on their own (transport to the office, to meetings, etc...); - Adapts to changes, cultural differences and international standards; - Respectful and professional; - Promotes effective and benevolent teamwork.
