I have a strong personal commitment and belief in social justice, gender equality, inclusion and child rights - particularly for those from the most marginalized and disadvantaged backgrounds. I have over 20 years of international development experience, in senior management and leadership roles across 12 countries – both in the humanitarian & development context. Over the last years, I have lead teams to articulate and contextualize strategic vision and ambition and the development of strategic implementation plans that are fit for purpose, sustainable, innovative and have clear measurable outcomes and impacts. I am an empathetic, people orientated leader, with a strong commitment to mentoring and empowering teams to excel whilst also ensuring team and individual accountability for results. I am known for building connections, and for creating and maintaining diverse and effective relationships with government, institutional/corporate donors and partners. This aligns also with my success in resource mobilization by future proofing organizational goals towards diversified funding sources in highly competitive and restrictive funding environments. I am a confident decision maker, open to listening and to align programs with organization/donor priorities. I am also confident to start from a position of “Yes”, and possess courage to try new things. I am a confident public speaker and facilitator with skills in delivering contextualized training using presentation techniques that ensure engagement and active participation.
