Bachelor of Arts degree (2018-21) in Psychology, Journalism & Women’s Studies from the Indian Institute of Psychology and Research (IIPR). The undergraduate course broadened my horizons of the way people think, act and behave in any situation in and out of the workforce. Coupled with women studies, I understand more about gender inequalities in the workspace and how women try to break the glass ceiling. I have demonstrated my skills and attributes as a team player and organizer through my leadership positions in the Student Council for all three years of my undergraduate course. In my final year, I was an Office Bearer (Representative) of the Discipline, Redressal, and Grievance Committee. I have presented a Research paper (‘Fat Character Representation in Popular Western Movies’) at the Fourth International Conference on The Future of Women 2021. The research paper explores the westernization and globalization of inhumane beauty standards in popular western movies. The research paper allowed me to improve on my content research and aggregation skills. My elective subject in Bethany Junior College, Fine Arts, sparked my passion and interest for art, therefore giving me an eye for detail and precision. Pursuing my passion for fine arts, I customise paintings, stickers and weekly planners. Art is a form of cathartic expression that I use when I’m feeling anxious, upset or even just happy.
