Job Overview And Responsibility
Goal and background information Get the resource for: - Monitoring Tenable dashboard to ensure information security remediation items get done. - Potentially support in getting (i) information security attestations, and (ii) consents done. - Potentially support in monitoring MetaCompliance. - Longer term: other information security, administrative, and technology security-related tasks. - This role could develop to a more strategic direction supporting, e.g., an ISO certificate, etc. Tasks related to maintaining and developing administrative and technical information security controls. In practice: - Operative basic tasks: - Monitoring Tenable dashboard to ensure information security remediation items get done. - Support in getting (i) information security attestations; and (ii) consents done. - Support in monitoring MetaCompliance (ensuring people have done their infosec courses). - Keeping documentation related to information security up to date - Support in technical information security: - Installation of Tenable agent to laptops. - Communication of information security related guidance to the staff members - Assessments: - Information Security assessments (Markus could produce a checklist that this person could use in checking the compliance with security practices - at first the QA and deviations could be discussed and documented with CTO) - Going forward, more strategic information security related tasks would include: - Coordinating the risk assessment for Vietnam entity infosec. - Based upon assessment: planning and coordinating the development projects with Clear Capital information sec team. - Taking ownership of the action items defined and communicating these across CubiCasa entities.
Required Skills and Experience
Language skills: - Vietnamese and English. Education: - Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is often preferred or required. Common fields include: - Information Security/Cybersecurity: This provides a direct focus on security concepts, threats, and countermeasures. - Computer Science: Offers a strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and software development, which are fundamental to security. - Information Technology (IT): Provides a broad understanding of IT infrastructure and systems administration. - Related STEM Fields: Degrees in mathematics, engineering, or other science and technology areas can provide a strong analytical and problem-solving foundation. - Business Administration or Management: Can be valuable, especially when combined with IT or security certifications, as it provides an understanding of organizational processes and risk management. - Security Principles and Concepts: Knowledge of confidentiality, integrity, and availability (CIA triad), risk assessment, security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001), and common security threats (malware, phishing, social engineering, etc.). - Basic Understanding of IT Infrastructure: Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux), networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, VPNs), and cloud computing platforms. - Security Tools and Technologies: Experience with or understanding of security software such as antivirus, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems, and vulnerability scanning tools. - Data Protection and Privacy: General Awareness of relevant data protection laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR) and best practices for data handling and privacy. Skills: - At least 1-3 years of experience in Information Security.
