Founded in 2008, VSee was born out of the visionary Stanford University Human Computer Interaction (HCI) Lab and Computer Graphics Lab in Silicon Valley, where its cofounders Drs. Milton Chen and Erika Chuang were completing their PhDs. Driven by user-centric design, the initial VSee video application was created to make remote work simple. Following a pivotal opportunity to deploy VSee for the Albert Schweitzer Hospital in Gabon, VSee began to focus exclusively on the healthcare sector, pioneering the first virtual waiting rooms as well as other groundbreaking telehealth workflows and capabilities. 

Over the last 15 years, VSee has built up a comprehensive suite of flexible telehealth building blocks, becoming the fastest platform to move innovation to reality. Today, we are the go-to digital transformation tool for healthcare enterprises to address the dual challenges of patient engagement and clinician shortage.

VSee serves over 1000 clients including McKesson, Mount Sinai, Optum, GE, Shell, DaVita, and NASA Space Station.
