THE ROLE The Brand Manager is responsible for developing and deploying above-the-line marketing plans aligned with Business Strategy. He/she is also responsible for brand building, driving awareness of key product categories on growth, relevant communication and innovation related to the target customers and focused market. The position is based in Hanoi. He/she hierarchically reports to the Marketing Manager. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES - Understand market dynamics, competition, consumer/contractor/architect/customer insights through research, competitive trends, trade visits; - Understand media landscape and trends to maximize investment and effectiveness; - Brand positioning vs. competitors. - Define media channel mix and affordable price positioning to extend brand awareness in potential markets/categories; - Market understanding and explore opportunities for building brand leadership within assigned categories; - Align with other business functions to ensure timely and effective launches; - Manage above-the-line marketing budget effectively; - Work with headquarters and relevant agencies for developing and implementing communication plans within approved budgets; - Integrate brand positioning across all elements of the marketing mix for both ATL and BTL. - Manage and develop brand team for great team spirit and environment; - Leverage employee skills for high efficiency; - Provide training and coaching for team members.
- University degree, major in Marketing, Business Administration, or Foreign Trade; - Minimum 5 years of experience in Marketing Field and 1+ year of experience at a management level with a scale of 1 - 2 team members - Category: FMCG, Electronic Appliances, Construction Materials; - Intermediate English; - Effective negotiation skills and selling skills; - Good communication and organizational skills; - Presentation skills, planning, analyzing, communicating, creating, and implementing. - Cross Functional Appreciation; - Good understanding of the local market and consumer behavior.
- Participation in social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance according to the company’s policies. - Work schedule: 26 days per month, from Monday to Saturday weekly. - Annual leave: 12 days. - Holiday and Tet bonuses as per company regulations. - Annual vacation trips. - Participation in domestic and international training courses.
