We are seeking analytical and detail-oriented individuals to join our M&A Advisory team as Junior Analysts. You will work directly on cross-border M&A transactions, conducting financial analysis, due diligence, and company valuations for Japanese and international clients. This is a hands-on role where you will build core deal execution skills from day one, with exposure to real transactions and direct client interaction alongside senior team members. Duties and Responsibilities •Conduct financial analysis of target companies, including P&L review, balance sheet assessment, and cash flow analysis. •Support due diligence processes: gather, organize, and analyze financial and operational data from target companies. •Build and maintain valuation models (DCF, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions). •Prepare due diligence reports, investment memos, and presentation materials for buyers and stakeholders. •Assist in market research and industry analysis to support M&A deal sourcing and evaluation. •Attend client meetings and on-site visits with managers to understand client needs and present findings. •Support post-merger integration (PMI) activities and project tracking. •Collaborate with cross-functional teams on Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) projects as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements •juniors are welcome – Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. •Strong understanding of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement) and basic accounting principles. •Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets. •Proficiency in Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, VLOOKUP); knowledge of VBA and Power Query is a plus. •Fluent in English (Business Level); •Strong interest in M&A, corporate finance, and transaction advisory. •Good communication and presentation skills.
