Job Overview And Responsibility

We are seeking analytical and detail-oriented individuals to join our M&A Advisory team as Junior Analysts. You will work directly on cross-border M&A transactions, conducting financial analysis, due diligence, and company valuations for Japanese and international clients. This is a hands-on role where you will build core deal execution skills from day one, with exposure to real transactions and direct client interaction alongside senior team members. Duties and Responsibilities - Conduct financial analysis of target companies, including P&L review, balance sheet assessment, and cash flow analysis. - Support due diligence processes: gather, organize, and analyze financial and operational data from target companies. - Build and maintain valuation models (DCF, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions). - Prepare due diligence reports, investment memos, and presentation materials for buyers and stakeholders. - Assist in market research and industry analysis to support M&A deal sourcing and evaluation. - Attend client meetings and on-site visits with managers to understand client needs and present findings. - Support post-merger integration (PMI) activities and project tracking. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams on Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) projects as needed.
