1. Marketing - Collaborate to identify business priorities (with Sales and/or Product teams) and create supporting campaign execution from strategic planning to implementation through all functional marketing areas. - Manage your own workload and prioritize multiple requests from various parts of the business. - Ensure integration between all planned marketing activity, whether by an audience, publication product or event. - Become an advocate for the local brand (Magazine) to ensure all marketing activities are aligned and support the global brand. - Think strategically and execute tactically. - Work across multiple teams to deliver the best results. - Be innovative and creative to bring new ideas to the team. 2. Distribution - Oversee the entire distribution process, from printing and warehousing to delivery to retailers and subscribers. - Manage relationships with distributors, printers, and logistics providers. - Negotiate and secure competitive rates for printing and distribution services. - Monitor distribution channels and identify opportunities for improvement. - Analyze distribution data and improve efficiency. 3. Subscriptions - Manage the subscription system, including processing sign-ups, renewals, and cancellations. - Develop and implement strategies to acquire and retain new subscribers. - Analyze subscription data to identify trends and optimize campaign performance. - Develop and promote subscription offers and promotions. 4. Event - Plan and organize events, including workshops, talk shows, reviews, and more. - Manage the event budget, selecting and monitoring agencies allocated for each brand. - Lead and manage the event operations team to ensure successful event execution throughout the year. - Develop innovative ideas and proposals for activation events to leverage media content on social platforms. - Generate event ideas and plans based on the direction of CEO. - Manage and report on event costs and budgets to CEO and CFO. 5. General Responsibilities - Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in distribution and subscription management. - Proactively identify and implement cost-saving measures. - Collaborate with other departments, such as editorial, marketing, and sales, to ensure seamless operational coordination. - Manage projects effectively and meet deadlines. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation.
- University degree in Business, Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields. - At least 3 years of experience as a Commercial Manager or in equivalent positions in the media, magazine, advertising, or event industries. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and meet deadlines. - Experience with events and product launches - Previous experience working in an agency, press, event company, media is an advantage. - Able to source quotes and partners that fit each specific campaign and plan - Fluent in English.
