As demand for video consumption continues to surge, we believe the future of entertainment will be inherently multimedia. Many comic creators aspire to transform their stories into animated projects, but traditional animation processes are often prohibitively expensive and time-consuming. Our platform revolutionizes this landscape by making the transition from 2D comics to immersive motion comics and videos cheaper, faster and more seamless. In turn, creators are then empowered to distribute their content across various channels to reach untapped audiences (eg. the audio version of a StoryCo story could be uploaded as a podcast or audiobook). This innovation is game-changing for independent creators, as it provides them with production capabilities similar to large-scale studios at a fraction of the cost and effort.

At the heart of StoryCo's innovation is our proprietary Story Engine, a technology that enables creators to easily turn upload a web comic script and transform it into a multimedia story (video) combining visuals, voice performances, SFX and music, all within a 3D environment. The user-friendly interface of the Story Engine democratizes high-quality content creation, enabling a new era of storytelling where creators can easily produce sophisticated multimedia narratives. Built around an expanded flavor of the standard script format - Fountain - our enhanced script parsing engine intelligently analyzes story intent and semantic meaning within scripts, allowing our editor to dynamically create a "generative UX," which tailors the creator interface to specific narrative needs.

StoryCo was founded in 2022 by brothers J.P. and Justin Alanís - who have a clear vision for the business and platform and have assembled a world-class team of experts at the intersection of media and technology, many of whom have worked together previously.
