If you have ever tried making videos with AI, this probably sounds familiar: one model produces beautiful images but can't do video, another handles video well but your character's face changes from one scene to the next, and you end up signing up for three or four different accounts just to finish one short clip. When the result isn't quite right, your only option is usually to rewrite the prompt and try again. Higgsfield AI tackles this problem differently. It brings popular models together in one place and adds tools modeled on real film-set equipment, so you decide the camera angle, lighting and expressions instead of leaving the AI to guess. In this article, Aniday draws on Higgsfield AI's official website, its help center and hands-on video tutorials to explain how the tool works, where to start and what to watch out for on cost.
Higgsfield AI is a browser-based creative suite that lets you generate images, video and audio from text prompts or reference images. The platform launched its full browser-based video generation product in March 2025 and has since grown into an ecosystem of dedicated workspaces: Image, Video, Audio, Cinema Studio, Marketing Studio, an Effects library and Supercomputer, its autonomous AI agent.

At its core, Higgsfield AI works on a "one account, many models" basis. Each time you create something, you pick the model best suited to the job, for example GPT Image for text-heavy images, Recraft for vector logos, or Kling and Seedance for videos with complex motion. Everything is billed in a single currency, credits, so you don't have to pay for each service separately. Higgsfield AI has also built its own models, including Soul (high-aesthetic portrait images) and DoP (image-to-video with cinematic camera movement).
According to figures the company shared during its early-2026 funding round, social media marketers make up the majority of Higgsfield AI's users. If you need a steady stream of short videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts, the Effects library and fast image-to-video conversion help you keep up with trends without a physical shoot or edit.
With Marketing Studio, you simply upload a product photo or paste a product page URL, then choose a template to generate ad creatives, e-commerce marketplace listings or UGC-style videos that look like real customers sharing their experience. It's a cost-effective alternative to hiring models and studios for campaigns that need many test variations.
If you want to tell a story with the same character across multiple scenes, Soul ID and Cinema Studio are the two tools to look at. You can keep the character's face consistent and choose the camera body, lens, camera movement and decade-inspired color grading, much like the pre-production workflow of a small film crew.
For beginners, comparing outputs from different models in the same interface is a quick way to learn which model fits your needs before committing further.
On Higgsfield AI, you can use image models such as Nano Banana Pro, Nano Banana 2, GPT Image, Seedream, FLUX.2 and Recraft, along with video models including Kling 3.0, Seedance 2.0, Google Veo 3.1, Sora 2, Wan and Minimax Hailuo. Each model has its own credit cost, listed publicly on the pricing page, so you can weigh the cost before you generate.
Soul ID lets you train a custom character from 20 to 80 portrait photos of the same person. Once trained, the character can be reused across Soul-family models and in Seedance videos, keeping the face consistent across images and shots.
Launched on August 12, 2026, Cinema Studio 4.0 lets you create videos up to 30 seconds long, use up to 50 reference images, and choose a camera type (digital, 35mm film, 8mm film or DV camcorder), more than 30 camera movements and more than 50 color grading presets, as well as adjust lighting and character emotion. Videos are generated with native audio, including sound effects, dialogue and background music.
Marketing Studio offers more than 1,500 templates, grouped into categories such as product photos, Meta and Google ads, e-commerce listings, posters, UGC videos and motion videos. You don't have to write a prompt at all; just pick a template, add a product image or URL and click generate.
Higgsfield AI can be connected to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other AI coding assistants. In a tutorial on the Productive Dude channel, the creator demonstrates running multiple Claude Code sessions in parallel from the command line to produce three ad videos at once. This feature is better suited to users who are already comfortable with developer tools.
The steps below are compiled from Higgsfield AI's help center and the "FULL Higgsfield Tutorial For Beginners in 2026" video from the Productive Dude channel (published August 6, 2026). Button and menu names are given exactly as they appear in the interface so you can find them easily.
Step 1: Sign up and choose a plan
Go to https://higgsfield.ai/ and click Sign up. You can sign up with Google, Apple, Microsoft accounts or Email.

Step 2: Create your first image/video
Go to the Image section, then select a model from the model selector. Enter a description into the Prompt box and click Generate.

Or create a video by going to the Video section and uploading an image. Choose a video model, for example, Kling 3.0 for realistic human motion, Seedance 2.0 for action-heavy scenes, or Google Veo 3.1 when you need video with audio. Write a descriptive prompt and click Generate.

Step 3: Edit and download
For images, you can use the Inpaint tool to edit a specific detail, Upscale the resolution, adjust colors, change lighting, or change the viewing angle. When you are satisfied, download the image or video to your device from your generated content library.
Higgsfield AI uses a credit-based pricing model: each generation deducts credits depending on the model, duration and resolution. The information below was taken directly from higgsfield.ai/pricing on September 24, 2026. Prices exclude VAT and local taxes.

For reference, here are some typical credit costs: Nano Banana Pro is about 2 credits per image, Kling 3.0 at 720p about 7 credits per 5 seconds, Seedance 2.0 at 720p about 22 credits per 5 seconds, and Google Veo 3.1 at 720p about 40 credits per 4 seconds. Plan credits don't roll over to the next billing cycle; if you run out, you can buy credit packs or upgrade your plan.
Higgsfield AI is best suited to people who want to take a hands-on approach to AI image and video production: choosing the right model for each task, keeping characters consistent and deciding how the camera moves, rather than just submitting a prompt and waiting to see what comes back. For social media creators, marketers and online store owners, having multiple models, template-based ad tools and a cinematic studio under one account significantly cuts the time spent switching between platforms. The trade-off is that you'll need to get used to the credit system and keep a close eye on spending, as premium video models burn through credits quickly.
