As an IT Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to implement the strategic vision for a product and lead a multi-disciplinary team to design, architect, develop, test and launch the product to market. On a day-to-day basis, the Project Manager will work with team members across the full spectrum of software developer services including business analysis, UI/UX, graphics design, engineering and smart contract development. The Project Manager is constantly challenged to balance business viability with technical feasibility and resource availability, manage customer expectations and ensure time to market to make dreams into industry-leading products. Key Responsibilities: Project Initiation and Planning: ● Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, objectives, and requirements. ● Create and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets. ● Identify and allocate resources, including team members and third-party vendors. ● Establish project communication plans, risk mitigation strategies, and change management processes. Project Execution and Control: ● Lead project teams, providing guidance and motivation. ● Monitor project progress, identify and resolve issues, and manage changes in scope. ● Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and best practices. ● Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management. Quality Assurance: ● Define and enforce quality standards and best practices. ● Conduct quality reviews and audits to ensure project deliverables meet requirements. ● Implement continuous improvement processes to enhance project outcomes. Risk Management: ● Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation and contingency plans. ● Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle. ● Implement strategies to minimize project disruptions and delays. Stakeholder Management: ● Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. ● Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members. ● Address stakeholder concerns and feedback in a professional and timely manner. Documentation and Reporting: ● Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and change logs. ● Provide regular and ad-hoc project reports to senior management and stakeholders. ● Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and compliance requirements.
● Recognised bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science or related field. ● Minimum of 5 years of experience as an IT Project Manager, managing complex technology projects. ● Background in financial services ● Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Scrum) ● Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills ● Proficiency in project management software and tools ● Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities ● Exceptional organizational and time management skills. ● Proficient in English (written and spoken)
