Job Overview And Responsibility
We are looking for engineers to bring fresh ideas and perspectives to the team as we scale and grow further. As a backend engineer, you’ll work end-to-end with the multidisciplinary teams by influencing architecture, implementing APIs and maintaining the health of the code. - Design and build an efficient and scalable infrastructure to handle high levels of traffic, in a rapidly scaling environment - Design clean, testable, efficient code while maintaining high-availability reusable modules and libraries for future use - Design, develop, test, refactor and scale backend implementations of new and existing product features. - Proactively identify opportunities for improving the reliability and scalability of our systems. - Research on new trends/technologies and make recommendations on inclusions into the development of methodologies and product architecture
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor in Computer Science / Software Engineering or at least 2 years of back-end development experience at scale - Strong knowledge hands-on experience in design and coding with PHP Laravel frameworks or comparable frameworks - Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in deployment and management experience with AWS Tech Stack (S3, EC2, RDS, EBS, etc) - Exposure to architectural patterns of large, high-scale web applications - Experience working with transactional databases and caching systems - Good communication skills to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders - Demonstrated ability to operate as a high-performing member of a small cross-functional team
