This position brings an opportunity for a talented individual utilizing warehouse operational expertise to ensure warehouse operations compliance with customer’s and Schenker’s standards in terms of inventory management and project management. Specific Accountabilities: In this position you’ll be primarily responsible for managing the whole inventory of raw materials at both strategic and tactical level. Besides, he/she co-ordinate with related stakeholders on continuous improvement projects and quality programs on-site. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Manage the daily activity of inventory management: counting, checking and/or troubleshooting mismatches, status control, shelf life and other Factory engineer’s requirements (if any). Manage the daily put-away, storage and pick-face replenishment of inventory. Develop/execute enhancement projects/initiatives of inventory management. Leading cycle-counts and communicate results with CS before finalizing with customer. Advise the team to execute and develop reports relate to inventory management to support management on decision-making. Provide all kind of inventory analysis, including but not limited ABC analysis to provide proper storage methodology Execute/conduct necessary trainings to warehouse employees to ensure proper knowledge and qualified skillsets for their assigned tasks. Leading the team to achieve peak performance in accordance with safety and quality standards. Proactively take part in cost saving and or continuous improvement projects both internal and customer’s perspectives. Immediately take part in root cause analysis and derive with corrective actions and preventive actions when any operational failure appears. Project management of raw materials warehouse. Other tasks assigned by manager.
Required Skills: Strong leadership skills, well-structured and self-disciplined personality. Good communications and interpersonal skills. Must be able to understand, read and write in English at proficient level. Excellent attention to details, time management skills and meeting deadlines. Knowledge of warehouse or manufacturing processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing the effective warehouse operations. Proficiency in computer software such as Excel & Power point Positive attitude and ability to handle highly confidential information. Ability to deal with internal/external customers with enthusiasm and professionalism Minimum Qualifications: Economics/Engineering/Logistics 3 years + experienced in raw material warehouse/inventory management as supervisor level and above. SAP/WMS strong experienced.
