Since 1 Jan 2019, the Diversity Action Committee (DAC) has been reconstituted as the Council for Board Diversity (CBD) - please visit CBD's LinkedIn page instead. The DAC advocates increasing women directors on listed company boards in Singapore for the sustainable competitiveness of companies and the economy as a whole. Mr Loh Boon Chye, CEO of the Singapore Exchange (SGX), was appointed to be the Chairman in October 2016 by Mr Tan Chuan-Jin, then Minister for Social and Family Development. There are 18 members in the Committee, comprising leaders and professionals from the business, people and public sectors. The DAC announced a triple-tier target of 20% by 2020, 25% by 2025 and 30% by 2030 to spur SGX-listed companies to improve women's participation on boards. Top 100 primary-listed companies are called to take the lead and create a momentum of change. Visit our website where you can find: * Exclusive interviews with distinguished board chairmen and directors. * Authoritative statistics on women's representation on SGX-listed boards. * Leading executive search firms that support DAC's cause. * Initiatives by DAC and other organisations that share our goal.
