Job Overview And Responsibility
· Automate, administer and manage the overall Linux based infrastructure and services which includes deployment, configuration and management of Linux systems. · Help improve reliability, stability and tackle scalability challenges with engineering teams. · Participates in capacity, performance and availability planning for system configuration, software services, network services, load distribution, and service interrelationships among systems and services. · Implement quality solutions using Go, Python, Terraform and maintain the high bar of standards for code reviews and deployment processes. · Respond to incidents and troubleshoot issues in production environments, ensuring minimal downtime. · Optimize system performance and resource usage, ensuring scalability and reliability of applications. · Reducing expenses by right-sizing resources, using cost-efficient cloud options, ensures efficient operations while maintaining performance and scalability.
Required Skills and Experience
· Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology or related fields. · Have 5+ years of Linux system experience. · Have 5+ years experience in AWS, GCP experience is a plus. · Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) and distributed tracing tools (e.g., Jaeger, OpenTelemetry). · Working experience with GitOps concept and tools like ArgoCD, Jenkin. · Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex systems.
