Analog Circuit Design Engineer

Required Skills and Experience

- MSEE with 5+ years (or BSEE with 7+ years) of relevant industry experience with a strong background in analog design and a proven record of successful released power management products - Thorough understanding of integrated analog circuit design - DC-DC Switching Regulator experience is a must - Thorough understanding of bipolar, BiCMOS and BCD process technologies and circuit techniques - Experience with basic analog building blocks (i.e. opamps, comparators, references, A/D and D/A converters, flip-flops, etc) - Experience in designing & validating Data converters, PWM controllers, voltage regulators & switching regulators, Ics. - Thorough understanding of various switch-mode power conversion topologies (BOOST & BUCK, various control methods, multiple-phase current sharing, etc.) - Experience in analog IC/ mixed signals IC designs, verifications and tests. Knowledge in analog CMOS design or power management unit is an added advantage - Experience with behavioral top-level modeling and mixed-signal verification methodology - Experience working with the layout team on block and top level floor-planning with layout guidance and precautions. Others: - Experience with Aging-Aware Design Methods for Reliable circuit design and verification knowhow. - CD & EDA tool skill: a) at least 5 year of design experience as product leader and can determine circuit architecture b) Expertise with Cadence Virtuoso XL, Spectre & ADE-XL simulator, Spectre-RF, AMSD, LPE, etc. - Proficient in electronic bench equipment usage and automation measurement - Able to communicate fluently and write well in English
