Better HR started as an internal software of Nexlabs in 2018 to manage basic HR processes such as employee data, attendance, and leave. Existing clients of Nexlabs are aware of Better HR and adopted it in their HR process.

Eventually, the commercial viability became evident and launched in September 2019 under Singaporean law as Better Technologies PTE, with funding from Blibros and Seed Myanmar Ventures. Now, more than 350 companies across Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Cambodia, Singapore, Maldive and UAE (Dubai) have adopted Better HR to process over $8 million salaries amount per month.
