I have around 30 years' experience in publishing, general management, business development, creative writing, editing and entrepreneurship and and have lived and worked in nine countries around the world. Companies I have worked for include the Mail on Sunday, Daily Mail, Capital Radio, Euromoney, The Olive Press and Ink Global. I have also run my own business – a chain of four Juice & Smoothie bars – in Bangkok, Thailand. In September 2011 I took a sabbatical to train as a teacher of Modern Foreign Languages (French & Spanish). I graduated with a PGCE from the University of Worcester in July 2012. I believe in hard work, integrity, humility, compassion and the importance of building authentic, long-term relationships with colleagues and clients. I have written for the Bangkok Post, Phuket Gazette, Olive Press and Daily Telegraph. Samples of my work can be seen in my blog (see link above).
