We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Head of Business Development who will be responsible for driving the growth of the company through strategic business initiatives, partnerships, and client acquisition. Reporting to the Country Head, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing business development plans, identifying new opportunities, and leading a team to achieve sales targets and organizational objectives. This position requires a background in either a Bank's Relationship Management (RM) division, Bank's Payroll division, Consumer Finance or equivalent experience. What You'll Do: Strategic Planning - Building up Sales forecast & strategy to achieve targets. - Sales data analysis in terms of sales revenue, client's trend & related reports. - Identify and prioritize growth opportunities in new markets or with existing clients. Sales Policy Implementation - Improving sales process/policies/documents build-up & Tracking with authorizations. Team Management and Support - Building up a team with sales-driven and teamwork spirit. - Developing a highly motivated sales structure with clearly defined career paths for each role within the team. - Provide sales teams with the necessary tools, resources, and training to enhance their effectiveness. - Collaborate with the sales department to develop and implement sales strategies. - Consult team members in selling activities & maintaining the relationship with clients. - Manage and assess the performance of team members. - Be involved in recruiting, training & developing team members. Risk Management - Assess and manage risks associated with business development activities. Client Acquisition - Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities with SMEs clients for our products including Payroll Financing and Earned Wage Access. - Generate and qualify leads through various channels, including networking, referrals, and cold calling, able to set meeting with key decision makers; and be responsible for pipeline and conversion management. - Build and maintain strong relationships with SME clients, acting as a trusted advisor. - Conduct regular client meetings to understand their evolving requirements and provide ongoing support and build referrals from existing clients. Market & Competitor research - Conduct market research to identify potential business opportunities, market trends, and customer needs. - Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and SME financing needs.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). - Proven track record in business development, sales, or relationship management in the financial industry, with a focus on SMEs. Background in either Bank's Relationship Management (RM) division, Bank's Payroll division, or Consumer Finance business development is preferred. - Strong understanding of SME financing needs and challenges. - Target planning & organizing skill. - Leadership & project management. - High integrity, fair & teamwork. - Excellent networking and prospecting skills to generate new leads and build a robust sales pipeline. - Exceptional communication and presentation skills to effectively convey the value proposition of the Payroll Financing and EWA product. - Ability to work independently and deal effectively with complex, changing, and ambiguous environment - Target-driven mindset with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets. - Self-motivated, proactive, and result-oriented. - Fluent in English and have good communication skill.
