The Head of Product will lead the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our company’s portfolio of products. This role is pivotal in defining the product direction and ensuring alignment across teams to deliver impactful, high-quality products that meet customer needs and drive growth. The Head of Product will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including engineering, design, sales, and marketing—to oversee product lifecycle management, from ideation to launch and beyond. Key Responsibilities: Product Vision & Strategy - Define and communicate a compelling product vision that aligns with the company’s mission and business goals. - Develop and implement a strategic roadmap that supports revenue and growth targets. - Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify product opportunities and potential threats. - Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to innovate and keep the product line competitive. Product Development & Lifecycle Management - Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to development, launch, and scaling. - Work with engineering and design teams to translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes. - Prioritize product backlog and manage release planning to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products. - Monitor and analyze product performance and user feedback, making data-driven decisions to improve and iterate products. Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration - Lead and mentor a team of product managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. - Partner with engineering, design, sales, and marketing to ensure alignment on product goals and objectives. - Act as a key liaison between the product team and executive leadership to communicate progress, challenges, and insights. - Collaborate with customer success and support teams to understand customer needs and address product-related issues effectively. Customer Focus & Market Insight - Engage with customers, prospects, and partners to gain insights into user needs, pain points, and emerging trends. - Use qualitative and quantitative data to inform product decisions and prioritize features and enhancements. - Ensure product design and functionality prioritize user experience and accessibility. Budgeting & Resource Management - Develop and manage the product department budget, optimizing resource allocation for maximum impact. - Partner with finance and operations to align budgeting with product goals and scaling initiatives.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 20+ years of experience in product management, with at least 8 - 10 years in a leadership role. - Proven experience in managing similar scale of product team (10+ mates) - Proven track record of developing and launching successful products in a fast-paced environment. - Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working cross-functionally. - Experience with Agile methodologies and familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar. - Ability to thrive in a dynamic and rapidly evolving market.
