Currently serving as IAF – Karnataka Govt and Nudge Foundation, Aruna Sampige is a global FINTECH leader with over two decades of experience in building Entrepreneurship, Sustenance, and Livelihood programs focused on the Rural Community with special expertise and commitment toward Women Empowerment. An Award-winning leader, Aruna has been building and spearheading several transformative initiatives at the grassroots levels, through FINTECH products and services. Her strength lies in her ground-level knowledge of technology, and financial solutions, to build greater financial literacy, and access to products and services for women in rural segments. With a specialized and undeterred focus on Women’s Financial Empowerment, she has built several programs that have the capabilities to transform socio-economic dimensions through technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Her additional global stints in Australia have brought her hands-on experiences including Entrepreneurship, Business Strategy, Planning, Client Engagement, Stakeholder Management, Delivery, and more. She is an established face in training, mentoring, and building awareness amongst rural communities. She has built a strong connection with rural women and successfully trained thousands of rural women across the State. Aruna has built several first-of-its-kind innovative programs encompassing financial inclusion, tech-based solutions and products, entrepreneurship, and livelihood for women. Amongst her recent initiatives is ANCHOR BANK, currently gaining a strong foothold in the Karnataka government's transformative programs. Aruna was the ‘Bharat Inclusion Champion’ at the IIMA-CIIE in 2018. 25 Tech entrepreneurs by the ‘Grace Hopper-Anita borg foundation’ in 2017. Recently, she has been awarded the ‘Entrepreneur’ of the year award for 2019-20, by Karnataka Women Achievers Awards (KWAA).
