The Minh is a social performance and communication specialist with approximately 15 years of experience. His expertise includes in Social Impact Assessment and Corporate Social Responsibility, Business Development, Public and Government Relations and Sustainable Development. He possesses exceptional skills in communications, stakeholder engagement, risk management and marketing. He currently serves as a Business Development Manager and Technical Support Specialist for SMEC International (member of the Surbana Jurong Group) in Vietnam; He used to work for Falkirt Resources Consultant as national project manager and with Monkey Forest Consulting (MFC) as a strategic social investment coordinator at a $US 9 billion Petrochemical and Refinery Project. Duties include implementing, managing and monitoring of Social Strategic Investment (SSI) projects as well as government relations at the district and provincial level; and monitoring, social impact assessment and risk mitigation to international best practices (i.e. IFC/World Bank); and evaluating and development of project cash-flow outsourcing, coordination of local authorities and implementation of compensation measures, site clearance and resettlement action plans and livelihood restoration. Prior to social performance work, he served in management and coordinator roles for securities companies including Sai Gon Ha Noi Securities Company, FTP Securities Company, Maritime Bank Securities and SHB Securities Company to enhance strong relationship among Securities and Banks, services sharing and branding co-development. He is the former public relations manager for the APEC Group and the Head Coordinator of Training for the Victoria International Academy.
