Candidate Understanding • Deeply understand the business context and talent needs across project teams and functions to shape targeted hiring plans. • Craft hiring briefs and tailor outreach plans that resonate with each hiring need. • Fully take ownership of the end-to-end recruitment process for committed roles: Sourcing, Interview, Offer negotiation, and Onboarding collaboration. • Co-own hiring success with Hiring Teams, ensuring aligned expectations and shared accountability. • Actively participate in regular hiring reviews and retros to drive continuous improvement in hiring outcomes and process. • Maintain rigorous hiring data (e.g., cost per hire, time to fill, offer acceptance rate, candidate NPS,...) to assess and improve TA performance. • Ensure each hire aligns with both the expertise (skillset, experience,...) and culture-fit (mindset, belief, working model,...) criteria of GEEK Up. Candidate Relationship • Build and maintain professional, balanced relationships with candidates — not too close to lose objectivity, not too distant to miss opportunities. • Maintain strong employer positioning throughout all candidate touch points to drive both short-term conversion and long-term brand reputation. • Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth transition and holistic candidate experiences. Talent Marketing & Engagement • Stay attuned to evolving tech talent trends and candidate behaviors to continuously refine sourcing channels and messaging. • Contribute to employer branding, campus relations, and community outreach to attract high-quality talent.
Must have: • 5+ years of experience in full-cycle recruitment or talent acquisition, ideally within fast-paced digital product/tech environments. • Strong understanding of both Engineering & Product roles (e.g., Product Analyst, Product Design, Backend, Frontend,...) and what makes talent thrive in each. • Possess strong business acumen to identify current and emerging human resource challenges within the organization. • Own a can-do attitude to tackle any arising recruitment challenges that are related to business's key objectives. • Excellent interpersonal, stakeholder management, and communication skills, especially in high-stakes offer negotiations. • Have a methodical and organized working style with the capability to pay high attention to detail and execution, balance speed, quality, and positioning. • Experience working with candidate funnel metrics, recruitment systems, and building structured pipelines.
