1.1 Position Objective • Responsible for the entire procurement cycle – from sourcing and evaluating suppliers, negotiating commercial terms, to managing product development projects and import procedures – in order to ensure a flexible supply chain, optimal costs, and compliance with Vietnamese legal regulations. 1.2 Reporting to • Product Planning Director 1.3 Key Responsibilities • Supplier Sourcing, Evaluation & Management: Conduct market research, develop a list of potential suppliers (domestic & overseas). Assess supplier capabilities, including scale, R&D capacity, quality certifications, and product portfolio. Maintain and regularly update supplier profiles, perform periodic evaluations. • Contract Negotiation & Administration: Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, payment conditions, warranty, SLA, etc. Draft and manage contracts; coordinate with the Legal Department and relevant functions (PD, SCM) to mitigate risks. • Product Development Project Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and factories to ensure product specifications, cost, quality, and launch timeline are met. • Product Testing & Certification Management: Develop testing and certification plans & budgets (CR, QCVN, Energy Efficiency, Electrical Safety, etc.). Work with testing agencies, consultants, and government authorities; standardize testing documentation. Coordinate with internal teams and factories to prepare test samples.
Kỹ năng và kinh nghiệm tối thiểu
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics/Commerce/Logistics from top universities (Foreign Trade University, National Economics University, Hanoi University of Science and Technology – Industrial Management, etc.). • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in procurement/international trade in the electronics or home appliances industry (preferably with an annual portfolio > USD 5 million). • Proficient in sourcing processes and supplier evaluation; skilled in price & commercial term negotiations; solid understanding of Incoterms 2020, UCP 600. • Well-versed in customs procedures, CO, CQ, CR/DoC, QCVN certifications. • Knowledge of quality management, safety, and energy efficiency regulations. • Good command of both English and Chinese. • Soft skills: Strong communication & persuasion skills; analytical & problem-solving mindset; ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and handle deadline pressure. High integrity and strong confidentiality awareness. • Willing to travel internationally for short-term assignments.
