Job Overview And Responsibility
* What we're looking for: We are seeking a skilled Manual Tester to join join our dynamic team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge applications . In this role, you will ensure the quality of our software products by conducting manual tests, identifying bugs, and providing feedback to developers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our applications meet the highest standards of quality and usability.
Required Skills and Experience
* Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications based on requirements. - Identify, document, and report defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues using defect tracking tools. - Perform functional, regression, system, and user acceptance testing. - Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to understand system requirements and provide feedback on quality. - Ensure that all software releases meet the company's quality standards. - Conduct test case reviews to ensure comprehensive coverage. - Participate in test planning, estimation, and risk analysis for various projects. - Provide clear and concise test reports, including status updates and bug trends. * Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) - 2+ years of experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications. - Proficiency in using test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla). - Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and testing methodologies. - Ability to write detailed and comprehensive test plans and test cases. - Knowledge of SQL and ability to execute queries for backend testing is a plus. - Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail. - Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. - Intermediate English proficiency in both written and verbal communication
