Business Analyst
• Conduct periodic (daily, weekly, monthly, annually) and ad-hoc reconciliations with partners and vendors to ensure the accuracy of loyalty point and payment transactions. • Extract, collect, clean, and analyse data from multiple sources to identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies; work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to address issues and prevent recurrence. • Ensure all reconciliation activities are completed within defined service level agreements (SLAs) to support downstream financial operations such as invoicing and payment collection. • Prepare and manage reconciliation reports; handle both physical and digital documentation, including printing, obtaining approvals, dispatching, receiving, and archiving. • Serve as the primary point of contact for reconciliation-related matters with both new and existing partners. This includes developing and improving reconciliation workflows, providing guidance, facilitating discussions, and contributing to the drafting and review of relevant contractual terms. • Identify opportunities for continuous process optimisation; support the development and implementation of tools and automation solutions to enhance reconciliation efficiency and accuracy. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation; keep detailed records of discrepancies, adjustments, and resolutions to support audit and compliance requirements. Ensure alignment with internal policies and procedures. • Prepare reconciliation summaries for management, highlighting key metrics, outstanding issues, and corrective actions taken. • Assist partners with ad-hoc requests within the agreed scope of support between Galaxy Joy and our partners. • Undertake other duties as assigned by management in support of the Operations team’s goals.
1. Education & Work Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in reconciliation, finance operations, data analysis, or a similar role - preferably in loyalty, fintech, or e-commerce industries. • Proficiency in Excel (or similar data processing tools) and SQL (or equivalent data query languages). • Familiarity with financial operations, billing processes, and payment workflows is an advantage. 2. Skills & Personal Attributes • Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in all work. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and manipulate large datasets. • Proactive problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify root causes and implement solutions. • Effective communication skills in both written and spoken English and Vietnamese. • Disciplined in following established processes with a continuous improvement mindset. • Reliable in delivering results on time with minimal supervision. • Strong work ethic and the ability to handle confidential information/documents. • Confident and assertive, with strong organizational and time management skills.
