Nimbly is looking for an experienced Software Engineering Manager with a passion for building quality user-facing applications. Join our growing Engineering team and help build software that companies love! Our Tech Stack We built our web application with ReactJS and our mobile apps with ReactNative, using Redux for front-end state management. Everything is written in TypeScript to take advantage of static typing and the preferred language semantics. We’re using Git (GitHub) for source control and automated pipelines. Our designers use Figma for wireframing and mockups. We deploy to Google Cloud and use a combination of Google Cloud Functions, App Engine, Firebase, and MongoDB for our back-end. What you will do here - Manage the Engineering team (Developers, DevOps and QA) - Assign tasks to Engineers and handle JIRA - Collaborate with Product, Sales and Architects in prioritizing items for releases - Handle releases and CI/CD Pipeline deployments using Automation - Handle different scrum teams based on projects along with Product - Collect different metrics like Team Velocity, Defect SLA, and Defect leakage ratio and submit them to management - Work closely with the DevOps team for scheduling release deployment and hotfixes - Train and groom new team members - Determine the need for training and talent development
