Communications Customer Service Sales
POSITION PURPOSE • The Sales & Business Development Executive is responsible for driving revenue through the promotion and sale of English language programmes, including IELTS preparation, English for Academic Purposes (EAP), and Summer Camp offerings. The role also focuses on proactively identifying and converting new leads interested in taking the IELTS test. This position requires a blend of sales capability, customer service excellence, and strategic lead generation to meet both enrolment and IELTS registration targets. In addition, the Executive will support the Business Development team in expanding the School’s market presence, strengthening institutional partnerships, and contributing to the growth of client portfolios across key market segments. AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY 1. Sales & Revenue Growth - Promote and sell English language products, namely IELTS preparation courses, English for Academic Purpose (EAP) programmes, English Summer Camps, and more in the near future. • Actively pursue new sales opportunities through outbound calls, walk-ins, and digital inquiries. • Convert leads into sales, ensuring monthly and quarterly sales targets are met or exceeded. • Conduct effective consultations with clients to assess their language needs and propose suitable course offerings. • Prepare quotations, handle pricing discussions, and close deals according to company policy. 2. Lead Generation for IELTS Test Takers • Proactively identify and reach out to new potential customers interested in taking the IELTS test. • Build and manage a consistent pipeline of test-takers leads through digital campaigns, in-person networking, school/university partnerships, and referrals. • Collaborate closely with the Marketing team to execute lead generation campaigns, webinars, and outreach activities targeting specific segments (e.g., students, workers, migrants). • Conduct telemarketing, cold calls, direct messages, and other outreach techniques to engage and qualify new leads. 3. Customer Service & Relationship Management • Deliver professional and personalized consultation services in-person, via phone, or online. • Follow up with prospective and current students to ensure high conversion and satisfaction rates. • Handle customer feedback and resolve service-related issues efficiently to ensure client retention. • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, schools, and institutional partners. 4. Reporting & Administration • Update CRM systems with accurate client data, sales pipeline stages, and follow-up schedules. • Submit daily/weekly sales reports to the Sales Manager. • Support internal operations related to student registration, class scheduling, and feedback collection. 5. Business Development Support • Maintain and update records of partnerships and external collaborations. • Coordinate with external stakeholders to support initiatives, meetings, and negotiations. • Ensure timely follow-ups for queries and tasks relating to English and IELTS programmes. • Assist in preparing presentations, proposals, and reports to support business development activities. 6. Event and Workshop Support: • Assist in planning and organizing seminars, workshops, and promotional events at schools and partner institutions. • Ensure that all materials and logistics are in place for successful event execution.
Education & Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, English, or Education-related fields. • At least 1–2 years of experience in sales, telesales, or lead generation—preferably in the education or testing industry. • Familiarity with IELTS structure and the registration process is a strong advantage. Skills & Competencies: • Excellent communication and persuasion skills in both English and Vietnamese. • Strong organizational and follow-up abilities; able to manage high-volume outreach. • Goal-oriented with a proven ability to meet or exceed targets. • Proficient in CRM systems, data entry, and digital outreach tools (desirable). • Customer-centric mindset with patience and professionalism.
